Reuters reports that as Vlad the Invader’s war in Ukraine entered its third week, Russia had achieved none of its stated objectives, despite thousands of people killed and more than two million refugees fleeing their homes under Russian bombardment.
Still, Russia has made some limited progress in the South and less so in the North.
Meanwhile Ukraine’s deputy prime minister said seven evacuation routes – including routes out of Mariupol and Sumy – would open on Thursday, as the foreign ministers of Russia and Ukraine are holding talks in Turkey.
This is the highest level contact between the two countries since the war began on Feb 24. But take note - Putin loves diplomatic distractions and Western wishful thinking to divert from his real agenda.
